All brides want to look their best on their wedding day. Now with the expertise and skill of professional make-up artist Anabela, you can have both your make-up and hair styled to the standard of a movie star, all in the comfort of your own home.

She trained at the BBC in film and television make-up, hair, wigs and also prosthetics / special effects and has worked as a Professional Make-up Artist for the last 18 years. Her career has largely been involved in making up the Stars of various Television programmes some rich and some famous but all treated with the equal care and dedication that you will also receive on your wedding day.

Film & TV Make-up Credits

Anabela has worked on many TV programmes from mainstream productions such as Eastenders with June Brown’s character Dot, the Chelsea Flower Show with the enigmatic Alan Titmarsh and Jenny Bond, the fund raising Children In Need with Terry Wogan and the wonderful late Jill Dando and Esther Rantzen’s Series That’s Life, Esther and Watchdog.

Amongst many Drama productions worked on are such classics as the BBC’s superior version of Pride and Prejudice staring Colin Firth and Alison Steadman, The Rif-Raf Element staring Celia Imrie and Greg Wise, and of course Casualty, Only Fools and Horses, Black Adder, Absolutely Fabulous and In search of the Brontes staring Patrick Mulahide and Victoria Hamilton.

She has also worked on a number of Television Commercials and documentaries such as Edward and Sophie an exclusive interview with the Duke and Duchess of Wessex. Anabela has also worked with highly acclaimed Televison personality presenters David Dimbleby and his special guest the President of the United States of America, Mr President Bill Clinton. She worked on Michael Parkinson’s Parkinson Interviews, and the British Comedy Awards with Jonathan Ross, Angus Deayton and many others.

Anabela lectures the highly skilled craft to up-and-coming Make-up Artists of the future at the ‘Brushstrokes Film & Television Hair & Make-Up Training School’ at Shepperton Studios in Middlesex.
